Delicious!! Turkish cuisine. Very nice menu offerings. Nice, simple decor, well stocked bar & wine list. The server we had was very knowledgeable, patient and courteous. He knew the menu and could suggest which dishes were just variations and which would evoke a better culinary experience. From our experience - you just have to work your way through their menu and enjoy the tastes.

It's been my favorite place to enjoy lunch for the last 15 years. Great atmosphere, lots of background chatter and a nostalgic decor with a great menu. The food is fresh and the portions are adequate. The service is friendly and they check on you during your meal. Get there early if you want to avoid the line-up at lunch time. I love their grain bowl, their greek salad and the liver and onions. Their white wine never disappoints me. They also have gluten-free bread option. If you didn't have time for desert, have a look at their cookies when pay your bill at the cash. Enjoy!

Good food and intereseting place as it appears to be pretty much original and apparently is the oldest running restaurant in TO. This is why the prices are a little steep for my liking. I had a hamburg and fries which I have to admit was delicious but not worth anywhere near $24. My friend ordered a little salad which once again was quite tasty but rather small for #14. So witha tip and the meal a hamburger, fries and a small salad cost $50. I don't see a reason to ever go back.

Nice burger, with a thick patty. Maybe the place needs some renovation but it’s still pleasant. Service is laid back. Prices are reasonable. For sure a visit worth paying.

Great place for brunch. The food and service was great. Quaint restaurant in Dundas square with original decor and appliances from the 1940’s. The in house jam and hot sauce quite delicious!!! I’m not usually a fan of jam but I loved it!!
