The first time the waitress had our bill on the table before we were half finished our meal. I guess they didn't want us having an after dinner drink.

When we were done our meal we waited and waited for our bill or for the waitress to come by. Eventually we had to stop her and ask for our bill. At this point I saw only one other table in the place. It was not busy.

This Fran's location is great. Free parking on Sunday morning. The food and service are good. The food comes out fairly quickly and is delicious. I had the chicken and waffles and it was very yummy. The coffee is decent here as well.

Best little breakfast spot hidden right downtown. Every experience has always been a great one with exceptionally great food at price almost rarely seen given the location of the place. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating making sure you're cup of coffee never runs out. Love the waffles as well as the French onion soup. Definitely recommend and is my go too. However, it can get rather busy around brunch.

Pro tip.... ask for a water, skip the add-on beverages and you can enjoy their tasty value breakfasts 5 mornings a week for just under $49.00/week. Not too shabby.

Consumer pro-tip... they offer a great $6.99 value breakfast menu Mon-Fri each week and the food is really good, perfect portion sizing and served quickly,

We went there for a work breakfast meeting .this morning. The service was so slow. That we had to stop our waitress and request that she take our order. I had requested that my bacon be cooked extra crispy and the waitress seemed to understand what I wanted. When the food came there was one meal that was not ordered. When my own came the bacon looked like there was no attempt at making it crispy so I sent it back. It came back very quickly and it was obvious that they had deep fried the bacon. You do NOT deep fry bacon. I sent it back and told them I don't want anything else. At no time was I asked if I would like another pot of tea from which I had finished the first before she had taken our food order.

BUT... be advised, all you need to do is add a coffee ($2.75+ tax) and a small very watered-down orange juice ($4.75+ tax), and you'll be spending $17 plus tip before you walk out the door. In other words, your coffee and orange water will cost more than your actual breakfast meal.
