This is one of the most amazing green spaces in Toronto. Even my friend from Los Angeles says this is the best park she's ever taken her little one to. Then there's also the farmer's market that happens every Thursday from 3 - 7, year round. The basket ball court is always being used, by kids and adults alike. Amazing community feel.

The park itself is actually great, however a large segment of the population who visit regularly are inconsiderate of the children in the area. There is clear signage at every entrance showing that dogs are to be on a leash. Virtually the entire neighbourhood ignores these signs and the result is a risk to the children and virtually everything alive in the park. I've pushed a dog away from my 2 year old as he attempted to bite her arm. I've witnessed pitbulls attack other dogs, all off leash. It has been such an on going issue that finally the city is planning an off leash, fenced off area. I highly doubt that it will make a difference as people are already ignoring the rules.

I started going when i was 3 years old, it is like another home. The market on Thursdays is THE BEST, it is way i meet all my best friends! go up to anyone and they're all so open and friendly, just the best community.

The ice rink is okay, don't think they clean it that often but overall experience is good. The prices are the best I've seen, ice skates rent is only $2 and some snacks go for $1-2 too.

Yes!! One of the best parks in the city!! Great play ground and digging pit for making trenches and bridges with real shovels and wood for the older kids.. In the summer the food cart sells extremely inexpensive homemade meals for kids and parents! Coffee for the parents too.. Also a farmer's market here every Thursday which has lots of amazing treats.
