While waiting for the result, three different staffs came in and told us to wait for the blood, urine and the schedule result. None of them came, in fact they asked us to move and wait in another room. Seeing all these staffs chatting and not doing anything just really bothers me, what triggers me the most is that they don’t respect their patients and most importantly they don’t treat every patients as equal as others.

Unless you have a severe obvious broken arm or leg or just somewhere massively covered with blood, then come, or else go to any other hospitals and I’m sure you’ll be treated a thousand times better than this.

Please explain to me what the purpose of this hospital is? You’ve allowed my sister, a young women with absolutely no quality of life, to lay in your hospital in EXCRUCIATING PAIN SINCE 4am THIS MORNING. If you plan on going into the healthcare system to take blood work and gossip go work at a clinic, the people who actually require care don’t need or want you here.

I’ve been waiting to be seen by a doctor for the last three hours at the eye clinic on the 8th floor. There are only six people sitting in the waiting room and considering I came for my appointment half an hour early I’m actually surprised they’ve been making my mother and I wait this long. After I was waiting for those three hours they tell me I have to wait until the clinic closes in order for my mother to get her surgery done. Also it takes me an hour and a half to get downtown, it is absolutely unacceptable. The receptionist working is rude and disgusting towards people who do not speak English as their first language. I would NOT recommend.

To everyone who is completely disgusted with the health care system and St. Mikes specifically, ensure the staff disclose their names to you as it is required by law and report them to either CNO or College of physicians whether big or small. I sure am :)

I have always been impressed with St. Michaels, both as someone accompanying a patient, and now as a patient. All the staff I have encountered are very helpful. Both of my doctors at the hospital are wonderful. I have a complicated case, but it really helps to know that I'm in good hands.

Zero disregard for patient care. Zero disregard for a serious head injury. Prioritiezed someone who had a cut on their finger over someone who passed out while standing and landed on their face. When asked if the process was moving or not, was treated with complete dispresct and rudeness. Have been waiting 3 hours have spoken to hospital staff for maybe 10 mins total. Hospital staff made an -absurd- “joke” about domestic violence. GO TO TORONTO GENERAL IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR SANITY. YOULL LEAVE THIS HOSPITAL WITH THE SAME INJURY AS WELL AS MENTAL DISTRESS.

The staff was awfully rude and impatient while me and my partner have been waiting for 5 hours just to get a blood test. I personally went to other hospital before, and it only took me 2 hours in total to get a thorough check up and also I got a blood test.

There is no words that can describe how unsatisfy the experience has been.

My sisters life is harder than any of you could ever imagine and you treat her as if she is an inconvience to you? Do what the government is funding you for and treat her! How hard is that? She requires pain and nausea management, insulin therapy, and J tube feeding. Somehow my mother and I are capable of managing all this yet your “qualified staff” are incapable? You’re a waste of resources and skin. Your nurse practitioner seems to think she’s a specialist and has the right to tell your patients that the pain they are experiencing is just part of the disease and they’ll have to live with it. Do you tell your chemo patients or mothers in labour the same thing?
