Absolutely disgusting customer service and organization. Completely fragmented layout and atrocious interactions with staff. Impatient, inconsiderate and absolutely detached from customer needs. Avoid at all costs

They are most useless and unorganized people I have ever dealt with. They don't ever answer the phone they don't check the emails even though they tell you to send questions to them via email. They should all be fired and start over.

After reading all these negative reviews I was so worried and I thought my visa process will be horrible. What happens was just opposite. Staff was so professional and friendly. I got my visa delivered to my home in 3 working days. I have no idea why people write all these reviews. It is really unfair to people who work there. They are really good and they treat you good. If you have all the requirements, you will get your visa.

As a Canadian citizen applying for the Youth Mobility visa (for the 2nd time), I have found the consulate extremely helpful :) Ask for Karyn Hirschl! She replies to emails the same day, and her information is always the most accurate. They process documents very quickly.

WARNING: Avoid Josefina at all costs. She says "no" to everything. She won't even let you finish your sentence before she dismisses whatever it is you're asking. She is incompetent and hates her job, so she'll deny your request in order to reduce her workload. If you suspect you might be talking to Josefina, hang up and call again. Always ask to speak with someone else.

Paperwork is long and tedious, dont expect to solve your problems in one visit. Again, that is Spain.

From a foreigner point of view, I can understand that the attention is rough and not as polite as the canadian standard. Welcome to Spain. Be patient, be polite and try to be patient again, dont become angry because they are not polite. If you can speak some spanish, even better. They dont pick up the phone, use the email and if they dont reply, forward them the same email, as easy as that. Eventually they will reply with the information you need.
