The receptionist was always pleasant with me every time I visited. And if you have all the documents you need it'll be a smoother transaction. Downfall: the wait time can be excruciatingly long. It can be an headache if you have plans later in the day. And if you're planning on taking your photos there, make sure the photographer is present or you'll have to find somewhere else to do them (as I had to do) and this will take up way more time.

Thought it would be a bad experience but it wasn't maybe my lucky day i guess i went there a day after a holiday so wasnt much people there....got there and was told they only accept cash and they close the door at 2pm had to run to an atm $10 for the picture $106cdn to mail the passport to my address the wait time was a lil bit long my advice is to let them take ur picture and let them fill out section G of the form and bring cash.

My friend and I went in to get our passports renewed. We followed the instructions pertaining to size, colour and finish for the passport pictures and had them taken at Costco. When we arrived at the consulate, we waited and waited and waited. Finally when it was our turn we were told our pictures weren't " good". Miraculously, and I say I that with sarcasm... the most qualified photographer was there to take our pictures for a cost of $10. This is robbery, the consulate needs to indicate this on their website that pictures taken else where are NEVER accepted. I don't have a problem with the idea of getting the picture done there but don't have people waste their time and money going somewhere else. To add to this mess of a situation, when we went back to pick up our passports, the same well renowned photographer was walking around in the waiting room asking to see people's pictures and telling them their pictures weren't " good". Smh...
