  Quick, and friendly service. They replaced my rear derailleur and aligned my brakes within an hour, for a reasonable price. Bike now shifts great, and the brakes are rock solid rather than the squeeky mess they had been. Second time going there, again very pleased with the service. Also happy to support a workers co op.

  I wish I could rate Urbane Cyclist higher. Within 24 hours of my bike lock breaking- they offered someone to deliver a new bike lock to my home and have someone cut the lock off for me! (If you're in a similar situation, make sure you have proof that it is your bike, otherwise they would be unable to cut the lock for you).

  Confirmed on the phone that all needed parts are in stock and ready. Got to the store, half the staff are not there, sales person is rude and has no clue what fits the bike or doesn’t. Website also says in stock but they can’t find them.

  Late on a Friday night I bought in my winter beater bike for a repair to the bottom bracket (destroyed). I had the pleasure of being helped out by Casper at the service desk. It was 10 minutes till close, however I felt welcomed and looked after. Casper identified the issues with the bike, gave me options as to price of parts, and made a clear distinction between “must replace” and “need to replace soon”. Before accepting the service, I received a clear and concise print out of parts and labour costs. I explained to Casper that I’m a courier, and did need my bike tomorrow if at all possible (yes... I was one of those customers haha) Casper said that he could organise a mechanic to look at it first thing tomorrow morning.
