  My son's experience has been largely dependant on the stylist. My son has never had an issue with getting his haircut and always sits quietly trying his best to accommodate the needs of the stylist cutting his hair. Most of the stylists are extremely aggressive are beyond rough with him during his haircuts. During his last haircut, I could see in his eyes that he was concerned with how rough they were treating his head and was uncomfortable. The cuts are also lackluster to say the least. After my last experience, I will be going somewhere else.

  The second time I went was bad. I got a blonde older lady. She was very nice, but only went to cut bangs and they charged me $12 for bangs I think a 5 year old could've done.

  Both experiences have been fantastic. I tried 3 other places before Melonhead and I won’t go anywhere else. They do a fantastic job, make it fun, and are SO GOOD with the kids. My guy is 1 1/2 and squirmy, talkative, active. They are quick and effective.

  Very good with young kids. Worth the extra money. They know how to handle any child getting their first haircut! You also get a certificate and a small baggie of your child's hair with your first cut.
