It was a busy Sunday morning so there was a long wait to be seated. But once we sat service was good and it was a pleasant experience overall. I should make my way over to that side of the city soon!

Short story, I aged 15 years waiting for a tiny amount of cold food while drinking 4$ coffee I had to french-press myself.

One of my favourite brunch places. Absolutely small and cozy but long wait times because of this. Food is always on point so far and their fried chicken sandwich is just a wonderful snack to have for a cheat day. Coffee and tea selection is good but nothing special. Overall I really enjoy the food and the small cozy environment.

Small and cozy place, therefore the wait for a table is a little long. Their famous Mad Maple and the French Toast are delicious! The fried chicken is juicy and crispy. They’re also generous with their avocado on their eggs benedict.

I haven't been to Beast is a really long time but I really enjoyed the brunch that I had way back when. I ordered french toast with shredded duck on top. It was not something I've ever had before but I was very pleasantly surprised! One of the best french toast plates I've had in the city. The duck was also cooked perfectly. It was clear that the kitchen knew what it was doing.

Long story, you will not be able to park, there is no parking. You will then need to wait, probably outside because the interior is the size of a garage. Unless you like calling ahead to eat brunch in a tiny room with 30 people, pass. Next, you will get a coffee that is not yet made and comes with a timer. Careful which coffee you order, because mine curdled the cream (and I was asked if I just wanted to drink it anyway, for some reason). Following the arrival of your coffee, you will need to wait around 15 to 20 years for your food to be brought from a distant farm and then aged in room temperature casks, I assume; how else the temperature of the food on arrival and the 15 years of life I spent waiting for it could be explained, I don't know. Also, the food. If you order a biscuit sandwich (half the menu) you will receive a tiny crumbly biscuit serving as the bun for more meat than it has any business trying to frame. A quick lesson in relativity will be gained here though, because as small as the biscuit is relative to the meat, the meat is small compared to anything else. The biscuit will then disintegrate, instantly, because the plate will be covered in liquid sauces which the sandwich wallows in. Finally, you will pay your bill and go somewhere else because you are still hungry.

Ordering a coffee meant a French press was brought to the table which was a nice touch.

The greatest breakfast experience I've ever had. The beastwich is the single best plate of breakfast food I've ever had and one of the best plates regardless of cuisine or dish. Lines form early and seating is limited. They offer a great menu and everything I've ever tried is top notch. Prices seem steep at first glance but food quality certainly justifies it. Must visit.
